Beached is a 6-day programme where you come and stay as a group of people and enter into a personal life experience like no other.
No art experience necessary.
Visit a different location every single morning with a task at hand. The afternoon invites you to come together as a community and enter into a creative process together. Then in the evening we have the most delicious food prepared for us.

OK, so what will happen?
Arriving on a Saturday, you will be greeted with a traditional Cornish Cream Tea, after that you can discover your room for the retreat and seek out all the areas in our lovely home. More information can be found by visiting thebigbeachhousecornwall.co.uk
Breakfast and dinner is included in the price, and with a vast amount of local cafés and supermarkets, as well as a good food storage area in the house – you will be able to buy your own lunch easily.
From Sunday – Thursday our day will begin with a simple breakfast before our morning get together. You will be asked to make your way to 4 unique spaces with an aim. Then home for the afternoon, with a creative workshop and an opportunity to create your own pieces.
With constant support and encouragement, it won’t be long before your inner child is laughing along with your paintbrush
And now for the small print:
Price to include Bed, Breakfast and Dinner. Full tuition and use of many art materials. Please note that NONE of the bedrooms are en-suite and cannot be specifically reserved. There are 4 bathrooms, 1 on the top floor and 3 on the ground floor. If you are booking on your own (as with a hotel) you book at a single rate and will be given a room that is just for you.
Price does NOT include, lunch – transport to locations (for those of you arriving via train or plane, I will be asking the group as a whole to car share and would ask that you offer a share in petrol costs).
As soon as you have made your reservation, you will be asked to join a private FB group where I can easily share practical information and you can meet your fellow residents. If this is going to be an issue, please let me know on a point of booking.
Though art materials will be provided, it is also asked that you bring a small selection of basics, the list of which will be sent on request.
Please be aware that we will be visiting and walking along many beaches and woodland areas. For those of you with mobility concerns, I will make sure that you are still able to participate as fully as possible. The house, unfortunately is not conducive to anyone in a wheelchair.
Non refundable Deposit of £150 to be paid upon booking, and the remaining balance to be paid 5 weeks before starting. If you cancel within these last 5 weeks, you will still be asked to pay full fees.
